contact2022113 · remove the tube completely. install a new gasket at the EGR valve end and a new blue seal at the plenum end. loosely insert the tube into the plenum and start the bolts into the EGR end. then, while holding the tube flush to the plenum, tighten the bolts at the EGR end. works every time and garanteed no leaks. 3.

You may get away with a pure silicone tubing wrap for awhile, but in the long run it will need to be replaced. Speaking of silicone tubing.....replace those when you replace the tube.
